This year marks the 125th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding Russian scientist, the founder of lipid-infiltration theory of atherosclerosis, Academician Nikolai Nikolaevich Anichkov. N. N. Anichkov was born on November 3, 1885 in St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg in a noble family.
