The use of drugs from the statin group has now become one of the mandatory components of secondary prevention of ischemic complications in patients with various forms of coronary heart disease [Smith SC Jr et al, 2006]. Currently, the question is not relevant to the values of drugs in this group, but to determine the categories of patients in whom it is advisable to use high doses of statins
