Abstract

According to Rosstat, mortality from diseases of the cardiovascular system (CVD) in the Russian Federation in 2017 amounted to 587.6 cases per 100 thousand of the population with the initial registration of 4 million 706 thousand patients with diseases of the circulatory system. These indicators indicate the need for preventive measures at the population and individual level, aimed at eliminating or minimizing the incidence of CVD and the associated disability.
