Clinical case of skin lesions in the form of eruptive xanthomas in a patient with mixed hyperlipidemia

Patients with eruptive xanthomatosis on the skin usually go to physicians, dermatologists, or maybe to cardiologists, endocrinologists. The presence of xanthomas on patient’s skin is an indication to determine the levels of total cholesterol and triglyceride. The article presents a clinical example of diagnostics and treatment of a patient with eruptive and tuber-eruptive xanthomatosis with high hyperlipidemia.
