Abstract

The review reflects modern views on the role of testosterone and estrogens in the continuum of cardiovascular pathology in men, including lipid and non-lipid biomarkers of atherosclerosis, hemostasis, vasodilation, anthropometric characteristics, manifestations of subclinical atherosclerosis, up to the formation of coronary artery disease (IHD).
