It is not uncommon for the practitioner to have primary hyperlipidemia (HLP) or dyslipidemia. Secondary or symptomatic SHD includes cases of high cholesterol (CS) or triglyceride (TG) levels associated with with some diseases, for example, with biliary cirrhosis of the liver, chronic glomerulonephritis, diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism.
